I wanted to thank you both for a really inspirational visit to Pelham this morning. I know I speak on behalf of the whole team when I say how welcome we felt, and how useful we found both the presentation and subsequent discussion, as well as the school tour. We have all taken away some really useful points to think about. • Your school is neat, tidy, well-organised and clutter-free, which creates such a great feeling of “high expectations.” • Children’s behaviour was exemplary. Children said hello, engaged in conversation and were well-ordered as they travelled around the school. • Learning environments were bright, purposeful and of a high quality – I particularly liked the “Who’s Who” in the Dog World display – your dog mentors add such as sense of “family” to the whole school. • Your teaching and learning model, whilst prescriptive, really sets your standard – and I thought this was great. Without copying it, I would like to do something similar in Galaxy Schools.
